Google’s dns is very good 8.8.8.8 ,
Quad9 is also a really good choice 9.9.9.9
and DNSwatch for anonymity 84.200.69.80 or 84.200.70.40
I am not really a fan of free VPNs,but you can try Opera’s vpn,
Hotspot Shield (with data limit I think) and I hate both of them XD.
The best free like-VPN for me is TOR.This is the most trusted VPN-like service I know (slower than normal vpns but it’s bandwidth is rising really fast).

Host OpenVPN and use a public WiFi (cafe, pub, gym, etc). Do remember to spoof your MAC address. This discussion has taken place many times in this forum. Use that knowledge too.
