Is it OK to browse and be a part of a hacking forum without using any private connections or a VPN connection even if you know that you will not do anything wrong from the knowledge you gain from the forum?

@Rootsec It is always good form to be on a VPN regardless of what your doing. I do not touch the net without one. If I am on a hacking forum anywhere I get on Tor as well as my vpn.

I think you should use one but in India if you use it without anything then also it is fine
