What are the courses required to become a cybersecurity consultant in 2020?

There is no a standard course that if you enroll it, you can say that you are a cyber security… :thinking:

There are some certificates you probably know like OSCP,security+, etc,but with those certificates you build a basis.

Cyber security is changing every day.So you should learn as many things as you can every day or you will stay behind.

But your question is not clear. Cyber security is very generic. What stuff do you prefer to follow ?

You wouldn’t promote ISO 27001 as a start ? I’m also interested in cybersecurity consulting and auditing.

You would need a bachelor’s of science in cybersecurity or a master’s of science in cybersecurity to be come a consultant as these programs will equip you with the knowledge that you need to have to be a consultant as well as provide the hands-on experience that you need to be successful. These programs cover a variety of courses.
