Help with PortForwarding?

Can someone tell me how set up port forwarding on my linux debian VB and tell me how to use it? I don’t really know what my router model is but I think I can find that out, or at least give you some photos/info about it

some info that Might will help:
Im using a Tp-link WN772N wifi adapter
The virtualBox is running on windows 8.1
I actually have password to my router and I can change it settings

@Shad0w Hi thanks for making a new topic. Please type this command in your terminal. After that take the IP address it gives you and paste it in your browsers url. Then report back the router make and model you get off the login page for further analysis.

ip route | grep default

  1. ‘ip’ is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file
  2. I used a popular Ip (192.168.1.1) and It took me to login page, and my router settings (after I logged in)
  3. I think my router model is “Funbox 3.0”? (at least it says that on login page  )

@Shad0w is this it? https://portforward.com/sagemcom/orange-livebox-3/

I think yes, But I still will need some help, with setting up the ports and I have some questions about port forwarding

@Shad0w A common port to forward for metasploit is 4444. Feel free to ask your questions.

2 posts were split to a new topic: Help Setting Up a Static IP Address

@Shad0w Not in English but this video if you watch what he does you will learn to port-forward https://youtube.com/watch?v=1q4z3K1rokA

(I had a little break so that’s why this comment is that late) I watched that video and it didn’t really help (Mainly because I didn’t understand that and It looked like funbox 2.0 or older model) but I followed the first steps of the guide you sent (https://portforward.com/sagemcom/orange-livebox-3/) and… I actually was able to set up a static IP, I will try to do the rest of that guide, Thanksss! [I hope I won’t have any more problems ]

What should I use there?

@Shad0w Application service is “Metasploit” intewrnal and external port both “4444” Protocal is “TCP” Device is the device you are using.

as Device I set Wi-Fi 3 IP (I use that in my Linux, It’s usb wifi dongle [Tp-link WN772N wifi adapter]), But, should I worry about that warning ? I changed security level to low but it says: “The firewall does not filter anything. Be careful, this level is reserved to advanced users to whom security is not a priority. Note also that even in this mode, a connection iniated from Internet will not be permitted if a NAT/PAT rule is not created on purpose.”, and I have couple questions and I will ask them after setting this up
and I’m not sure if I setted that up right way

and now I metasploit doesn’t work… :anger:
