Im using a Tp-link WN772N wifi adapter
The virtualBox is running on windows 8.1
I actually have password to my router and I can change it settings
@Shad0w Hi thanks for making a new topic. Please type this command in your terminal. After that take the IP address it gives you and paste it in your browsers url. Then report back the router make and model you get off the login page for further analysis.
(I had a little break so that’s why this comment is that late) I watched that video and it didn’t really help (Mainly because I didn’t understand that and It looked like funbox 2.0 or older model) but I followed the first steps of the guide you sent (https://portforward.com/sagemcom/orange-livebox-3/) and… I actually was able to set up a static IP, I will try to do the rest of that guide, Thanksss! [I hope I won’t have any more problems ]
as Device I set Wi-Fi 3 IP (I use that in my Linux, It’s usb wifi dongle [Tp-link WN772N wifi adapter]), But, should I worry about that warning ? I changed security level to low but it says: “The firewall does not filter anything. Be careful, this level is reserved to advanced users to whom security is not a priority. Note also that even in this mode, a connection iniated from Internet will not be permitted if a NAT/PAT rule is not created on purpose.”, and I have couple questions and I will ask them after setting this up
and I’m not sure if I setted that up right way
