I have Kali Linux as host machine and while learning Malware analysis it requires Metasploit but in the video it is in VM.
Also, if I run inbuilt - msfconsole it is giving same ip as the machine ( which is very obvious) but I am not able to get results in netdiscover -i eth0 -r 10.0.x.x/24. My ip is 192.168.x.x but in the video tutorial, NAT is being used because of the Virtual box and the ip is changed to 10.0.x.x.
I want to know that is Metasploit be only used in VM environment?
