Stable system and ran well on my older testing machine BUT I couldn’t do anything without messing with this and that and the other thing and typing my root or sudo password every 5 minutes 20 times .
Took me 15 minutes to get my sdcard mounted one day.
I was surprised it didn’t want the root password to change the wallpaper that’s how bad it was in my experience.
They have it all way too locked down for my tastes but it is a security os and it is setup to be secure even in your house if you happen to walk away and leave the screen unlocked.
I still love my Kali, but I tried an earlier version of parrot before, and after the hours pain for the initial updates I actually liked it alot.
So I went to try for the new version recently, and, the same old slow % update speed turned me off again.
Gotta be a faster update somehow.
Slower than windows. At least it doesn’t have to do it twice.
Hello , Hackersploit have mostly used Kali Linux in many videos of Ethical Hacking and Penetration Testing Complete Course. Will all these tools work with Parrot OS?
i install Parrot KDE and after that i try apt-get update and it will work then i try apt-get upgrade it started but after long time it stoped maybe due to some interruption of my internet speed but that it will offer me to run apt-get autoremove i dont understand whats that means and also one more thing i try to run armitage before updating my parrot it will give me dataBase error or metasploit error or am stuck and suck… i really love parrot but due to armitage maybe i will uninstall this and get back to kali… plz help me if someone knows about this…
