I was hoping to run Kali Linux as a virtual machine on the Tails operating system for max anonymity. Is this even possible ?
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, even if its in the form of telling me this is a stupid idea.
Hello, I would not recommend doing that, Tails is a live operating system that is designed to be run off a USB. After you have used it, Tails cleans up and clears the RAM.
If you are interested in maximum anonymity, you can either decide to:
Tunnel your traffic through TOR. This can be done through a Whonix VM or you can use proxychains in conjunction with the TOR service.
Setup your own VPN server and tunnel your host traffic through it.
