Iā€™m Milton. Call me M. Iā€™ve worked in IT for 25 years. I just earned my CEH. Working on Network +, PenTest +, and Security +. I have accounts on HTB, TryHackMe, and Trace Labs. As for what Iā€™m good at, I think my strongest suit is OSINT. Thereā€™s so much to work on. Ultimately, my goal is to be Red Team so pen testing is what I need to work on the most. I truly believe in the true hacker mentality. One of curiosity and learning. Always benevolent. Never committing a crime. I believe hackers teach each other and that is why Iā€™m here. I hope to be as much of a resource for everyone here as I hope to discover from all who are here.

Hi, Iā€™m Richie. Iā€™m a long time Linux user since the Windows activation validation issue started with Windows xp. Started hacking courses like 2 years ago and Iā€™m interested in ethical hacking, programming (got a little experience with Python) and Iā€™m just about to start with a course bug bounty from Station x. Iā€™m here to learn and maybe to help with some Linux issues if there are some. Just hope Iā€™m going to have a good time here.

I have an extensive background in IT but have since switched to law enforcement. Got into computers in the mid 80ā€™s and here I am still. My main interest in IT nowadays is IT forensics and cyber security / pentestingā€¦ It isnā€™t something Iā€™ve done a whole lot of before but I feel that having a broad IT background helps with grasping the concept of things even if it takes time to learn the trade and the tools.

Tell us what you are good at.
I am good at intelligence gathering and dare say not too bad at social engineering. I also make awesome pancakes.

What do you need to work on?
I badly want to learn Python but I am horrible at programming and have been ever since I first started trying back in the day with other languages. The world of exploits is new to me and while I do understand what they do I have a long road ahead to learn the ropes on how to use them.

What you hope to gain from being part of our community?
I am looking for a place of discussion regarding pentesting and cyber security. If a couple of table spoons of OSINT-tools and dripple of ā€œwhatā€™s the latestā€ happens to blend into the mix I do not mind. Also (while unlikely in the early stages of my existence here) if there is something I can contribute with I will be happy to do so.

At a later stage I want to expand my career in law enforcement to be around cyber counter intelligence.

Nice to meet you all and see you around the forum.

Hey, I go by the username REALSDEALS.

Iā€™m a college IT student (started this year) who loves working on computers and with them, but I really want to learn to utilize these ā€˜machinesā€™ to the fullest of their potential, Iā€™m fascinated of what power it can bring to the table when it is in the ā€˜rightā€™ or ā€˜wrongā€™ hands.

Besides that I want to learn more about cyber security and how exploits and stuff work to brace people/companies for the trouble they can cause to them.

Iā€™m not quite good at doing basic things, like I do not understand ā€˜yetā€™ how some of the things work.

But I have learned some languages by myself over the past years, and those are: SQL, HTML/CSS, LUA and I have some basic understanding of Python.
